I’m slowly working to put my pre-blog patterns up on the blog. I loved making this more delicate headband.

One of the best parts of summer is the sweet taste of an ice cream or gelato in the heat of the day. The Sweet Summer Headband tries to imbibe that feeling, the light gelato colour tones, with the sweet tie style.

The single crochet foundation stitch allows the bead stitch to be highlighted as the pretty detail within the body of the headband.

Whilst the bead stitch is straight forward once you know how to do it, it is a little fiddly to show in a photo tutorial. Click on the link to learn how to crochet the bead stitch before you get started on your Sweet Summer Headband- and revisit as many times as you need to while working on your project.
